Summary: The Senior Investigator varied the Department’s decision. While he found that it was justified in refusing access to certain records under section 30(1)(c), he found that it was not justified in refusing access to the remaining records withheld on the basis of sections 30(1)(a), 30(1)(b) and/or 29(1), and he directed the release of those records to the applicant, subject to the redaction of a small amount of third party personal information.
